SYNOPSIS
A lonely pensioner bludgeoned to death in the comfort of his own home brings despondent P.I Malone an unsolved case. But as the mercurial investigation deepens he comes to the harsh realisation that he must face his own dark fears in order to know the truth.
Sleuth is a short film co written by the director and his father. The films themes delve into paranoia, isolation and loneliness; common ideas that now more than ever we can all relate too. Our talented cast and crew are hard at work and cannot wait to show you the final product.
"The idea behind Sleuth is something my father and I have been exploring for over a year. We wanted to tell a compelling story, with a strong emotional core that one might associate with a social realist drama and infuse it with the stylistic conventions of noir. I wish to create a film that audiences can enjoy after several watches, leaving a trail of subtext and clues throughout that invite the viewers to rethink what they thought of the film."
